Our Perfect Little Girl!!

Today we went for our anatomy ultrasound! It was amazing!! She is almost 1lb! Can you believe it? Kelly (our ultrasound tech) who is so good said everything looked great! She is right on track, she is in the 20th percentile, kelly said she is on the smaller side of average. She has all 4 chambers in her heart! Her abdomen has completely closed around her umbilical cord, there were no signs of downs syndrome, spinabifida, club foot or cleft palate! Its such a relief to know we are still growing a healthy baby girl!! Just like all the rest of the visits her little hand was right there in her face! Looks like she may be like her mommy and be a thumb sucker!! Glenn and I are already so in love! Seeing her beautiful little face and body today was so wonderful!! Glenn keeps saying i can't wait to see her! He just told me we have a scanner....and i've been trying to take pics of the ultrasound and then upload them! haha so i'll work on uploading the ultrasound pics later tonight! Hope everyone is doing well! We wish everyone a very Merry Christmas!!

An exciting week!

This has been a big week for us! I felt our little Katie Beth move for the first time! It was amazing! I have to say its the best feeling in the world!! Glenn keeps trying to feel her! He is always rubbing on my belly talking to her! I can't wait until he is able to feel her! Uncle Steve also came to visit! It was so much fun seeing his reaction to her pictures and videos of the ultrasound! We have our next Dr's apt Dec 8th and will get the anatomy ultrasound where they will measure all her bones and look at all her vital organs! We will update after the apt! Hope you all are having a great week!

2 more weeks

Hey everyone,
Glenn and I went back to the doctor today. We were suppose to get another ultrasound but the doctor was able to hear the heart beat using a dopler. He told me since we were wanting to find out the sex of the baby we could come back in 2 weeks and have an ultrasound, that one wasn't needed since he was able to hear the heart beat. So only 2 more weeks till we will know what our amazing bundle of joy is. The heart rate today was 160. We have continued to have an uneventful pregnancy. My asthma I had as a child has decided to come back! My patients think its funny when i get out of breath trying to give discharge instructions. Dr. Hiller wrote me a prescription today for an inhaler which should help. We will update again in a 2 weeks to share the sex of our growing peanut! Hope you are all having a wonderful day!

With much love,
Glenn and Allyson

A few pics from our ultrasound! Sorry I couldn't upload the video! I know they aren't the best pics i was trying to take them with my camera! Hope you enjoy!

Our first Ultrasound

Today was our first ultrasound! It was so amazing seeing how tiny our little miracle is and watching his/her heart beat! It was the most beautiful thing we have ever seen! God is truly amazing and to be able to see this little life inside you makes you wonder how anyone could ever doubt him! The ultrasound measured the baby to be 6 weeks and 5 days, by my last period i'm 7 weeks and 3 days, since its only a 5 day difference they leave the original due day so were still looking at april 16th! The heart beat was in the 130's to low 140's. For those who dont know a normal heart rate is anywhere from 125-180. I hope to be able to post the video she took of the ultrasound! Give me time to try and figure it out! Hope every one is having a wonderful day!

With much Love
